Great processor
if you truly want to future proof your pc why not go for qaud core, especially as this is going to drop in price only worry is it does run hotter than core 2 duos, obviously doube the cores so think about some good cooling either high end air or water cooling will be ideal

What a brilliant processer, I can't believe how cheep this one is its absulutly amazing for the money even though i payed £285 now gone down to 165..

Great Processor
Well I was gonna wait for the 'G0' stepping version to come out of this chip but I don't overclock that much anyway. Running this chip with an Arctic Freezer Cooler 7. Temps are 39C on average. I've noticed a considerable improvement in my games and can now run everything on full settings. I've always been an AMD fanboy but this chip has won me over! AWESOME! Great customer service by Microdirect once again :)

What an absolute bargain
Just upgraded from an Athlon 64 3500 processor and WOW! Don't think about doing it. Just do it. You will not regret the performance improvement of this little monster. Oh, and buy a decent motherboard too. the processor deserves it!!

Built my rig for high end gaming and this bad boy certainly does the job,i can download ,burn discs and play cod2 online with no lag and the cpu running only at 40% and no higher than 39 degrees with the arctic cooler pro 7.Make sure you get a motherboard that supports quad core cpus
