Powerful, and excellent all around
You'll find a lot of cheaper 550W PSUs on the market - a lot of which have the watts, but not the amps (convieniently not mentioned, and no manufacturer's site to look on), to actually power an upper-mid-range graphics card, resulting in artifacting, crashes, and damage to your card. This one has a staggering 41A, easily capable of handling cards like the X1950 Pro. It's also extremely quiet - I can barely hear it, even when playing the most recent, demanding games. There is some slight fiddliness with taking apart joined plugs (the 8pin can be split into a 4 pin) but otherwise its easy to put together, and supplies cable ties to keep them out of the way of your air flow. The manual could be slightly more descriptive but does the job and covers several languages.
